Saint Howl - Green Electric Chapel (Album)

March 27 - 2026

Green Electric Chapel is the debut record from Saint Howl, a four-piece band from İzmir, Türkiye, recorded direct to board with the honest sound of what the room and the moment held. The songs carry longing aimed at something already hollow, and the strange indifference of watching catastrophic change arrive without turning from it. Americana, country and folk through Anatolian modal tunings, in the territory of Eagles and The Band, for a generation caught between what was and what's coming.

Saint Howl is a four-piece folk-blues band born and built in İzmir. Ayberk began writing the songs of Green Electric Chapel alongside a novella, both works mapping the temporal paralysis he found embedded in the villages and mountains south of the city, around Selçuk and the Aydın range – a region where time accumulates differently. Together the band built the studio the record was made in and learned to record and produce as they made it.
