Güneş Kardeş - Zahiri (Single)
April 1 - 2022
In his second single "Zahiri", Güneş Kardeş blends Anatolian psychedelia with breakbeat drums and misty synthesiser tones to create a contemporary version of Anatolian psychedelic rock. As energetic as it may sound at first, the song also has a melancholic feeling; the lyrics have Sufi references and are mainly based on concepts of particle physics, reminding us that the particles that build the universe are ever dissolving and transforming, and that this life which seems real and solid may be virtual and has a definite end for all of us. Therefore, as we walk towards the light, dreaming and trying to live our dreams is all we can do on this "Zahiri" path.
