Durukan Betses - Elektrik (Album)
March 8 - 2024
Betses' second album has its ups and downs: opening with acoustic-like feel-good tones, it takes a more fiery approach at times, goes deep with heavy, droney tunes and calms itself with lush crescendos. Overall, it is a loosely produced, vintage sound which emphasizes a "live" feel that shows the true character of music made by one person in a room by himself. With all its imperfections, it is a memoir of the artist, being true to himself.
