Deli Bakkal
Born in Istanbul’s independent music scene, Deli Bakkal is a collective built on rhythm, improvisation, and storytelling. Blending afro-jazz energy with Anatolian funk, rock, and the asymmetric pulse of regional traditions, the band creates a sound where cultural memory meets contemporary groove. Their brass-driven arrangements, character-based lyrics, and collective stage presence turn performances into both celebratory and reflective experiences. After years of live performances and a series of singles, Deli Bakkal now moves toward their first full-length album, expanding their musical language while staying rooted in rhythm and narrative expression.
